The highlight of the evening to us came when everyone stood up waving our national flags and singing to the community song "One United People". Students from 4 schools led by our YEC members streamed in during the song and some joined us on stage while the rest filled the isle. It was a heartwarming moment and as the song titled "One United People", we were "One United Moulmein".
Congratulations also went out to our Chairperson, Miss Grace Ong, and our Treasurer, Mr Seah Si Hao. Grace, who was awarded the National Day Award-The Public Service Medal. She was presented with a plaque by our Grassroots Adviser that evening. Si Hao was presented with the Moulmein Constituency Award - Commendation Service Award ! It was a night worth celebrating!
