On 29 September 2012, under the gentle glow of a full moon, Moulmein residents gathered at Pek Kio CC to celebrate the annual Mid-Autumn Festival.
The colourful event was a great success with the residents- especially the children, who thoroughly enjoyed everything from the KFC dinner to the various activities such as a magic show, fire-breathing, lantern-painting, trying moon cakes, muah chee and ting ting, tea appreciation, games like uno stacko, riddle-guessing, pomelo-peeling, and darts, and especially the lantern procession led by drummers and a long, twinkling dragon around the Kent Ville jogging path.
